job detailsjob summary:Our client in the retail industry is looking for an EDI generalist to join their team. This person will be responsible for managing the end to end process of electronic document exchanges and managing the entire EDI transactions process, ensuring accurate data exchanges and troublshooting/resolving EDI related problems.location: IRVINE, Californiajob type: Contractsalary: $40 - 50 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Associatesresponsibilities:
Facilitates EDI Transactions: Manages the entire EDI transaction process, ensuring accurate data exchanges between trading partners.
Coordinates Integration: Collaborates with internal teams (IT, operations, and sales) to integrate EDI systems with existing business applications, ensuring seamless workflows.
Troubleshoots Issues: Identifies and resolves EDI-related problems, including data discrepancies and transmission errors.
Maintains Documentation: Develops and updates EDI documentation, including mappings, specifications, and user guides.
