The program’s purpose is to implement prescribed interventions to link, engage, and retain people living with HIV in medical care and supportive services. The target population includes those newly diagnosed with HIV, those previously diagnosed and out of care, and those who are not virally suppressed.The EHE Program Coordinator will work collaboratively with outreach, intake, and medical care coordination staff to identify and enroll clients into the Priority Populations program. The coordinator will work with behavioral health staff to develop and implement client treatment plans, and assist with individual and group interventions. This position will support project deliverables under a grant with the Los Angeles County Division of HIV/STD Programs (DHSP), implementing strategies to reach the goals of the national initiative.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience working with clients who have a history of trauma, substance abuse and/or are living with HIV.

AA degree or Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.

Preferred/Special Skills:

Licensed substance use counselor.

Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.

Knowledge of the Seeking Safety curriculum and evidence-based practices for treating trauma and substance abuse in the HIV-positive population preferred.
