Tube WelderJob Description1st shift (6am-2:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) Tube Welder/Tack Welder needed for a large aerospace facility in Los Alamitos, CA. Pay will be $29.21 to start and is a union position with a set rate for new hires.This position will assist in the successful fabrication of aerospace assemblies. Tube Welder A is a combination of Tube Weld Tack and Tube Welder. In this role, you will run small stake welders on bellows and work towards running all products independently. Set up and operate All Stake Welders for Bellows and Components. Set up and operate All Draw Welders for Components. Weld metal thicknesses from .006"-.180". Develop new welding schedules for welding machines as required by shop management or manufacturing engineering. Direct and advise major maintenance on welding equipment. Identify and correct weld defects according to production standards and/or welding specifications. Perform at acceptable levels of quality and productivity on all welding assignments. Read, identify, and record from blueprints, pick lists, and x-ray numbers for traceability documentation per job requirement. Assist the department in developing techniques to increase productivity, quality, and throughput of products and share job knowledge within the department.Hard Skills
