Job Description:
We are seeking an ESL instructor and must have a minimum of 2 years in adult teaching experience in English as a Second Language and a minimum of BA or a BS degree. Monday Thursday from 1:30pm6:00pm and 18 hours/week.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Present course material in a meaningful way to students
Prepare weekly lesson plans based on the curriculum and any supplementary resources
Assist administrative staff with curriculum evaluation and selection once a year
Track attendance and academic progress for each student
Evaluate student progress with a written progress report monthly
Participate in professional conferences and continued education for ESL faculty
Attend all in-service meetings
Other duties as assigned by the School Manager or School Director
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree required; ESL Certificate or Master’s degree preferred
excellent oral and written communication skills

must be professional in all aspects of position, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude
must be able to prioritize, handle pressure & responsibility, and work within deadlines
must show respect to other cultures and develop rapport with international students'
