We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to support students with autism. The ideal candidate will be reliable, consistent, and passionate about working with children with special needs, with experience in teaching math, English, and/or art.
Qualifications:
Experience as a special education teacher
Relevant university degree
Art Therapist experience for special needs preferred
Behavioral therapist experience is a plus
Expertise in behavior and class management
Knowledge of executive functioning
Energetic and enthusiastic
Strong communication skills
Experience with social skills intervention highly valued
Job Details:
Location: Koreatown
Compensation: $30-$40 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities: Provide personalized support in math, English, and/or art; create a positive learning environment; implement effective behavior and class management strategies; adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
