Teacher:
Must have at least 12 ECE core units.
Must be at least 18 years of age
A strong desire to work with children
Fun loving and enthusiastic
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Must be warm, nurturing, sensitive to the feelings of the children as well as others
Able to relate well with children/parents and staff members
Good communication skills
Have a criminal record & TB clearance
Teacher's Aid:
Arrive at work on time.
Supervise up to four infants under a qualified teacher.
Know and follow Bixby Oaks policies (employ handbook).
Maintain general cleanliness of your area.
Attend staff meetings. Parent conferences (if needed).
Remain professional at all times.
Treat children, parents, and staff with respect.
Change diapers and assist with potty training.
Follow teacher's instructions.
