We are looking for a patient and responsible Teaching Assistant to join our team! We are a non-profit art center located in Arcadia, CA (www.cw-arts.org). We mainly work with students ages 5 to 15. We are currently seeking someone who can assist with our Arts Bridge Community Outreach program.
Job Description
Work 2-4 days a week, 6 - 12 hours per week
Work time will mostly be in the morning from 8 am to 12 pm, occasionally until 2:30 pm
Assist lead art instructor to conduct classes for elementary school-age students in public school classrooms
Work from August 2024 to June 2025, with a possible extension of the contract
Job Qualifications
High school degree or higher; currently enrolled in an art college or university or has a BFA
Organized, reliable, patient, work well in teams, and enjoy working with children
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
At least 1-year experience working with children preferred
Able to work from 8/12/2024 to 6/4/2025
