Small manufacturing shop seeking a full-time Solidworks Team Lead. Candidate must have previous supervisory or management experience, a high level of craft and precision within Solidworks and hold themselves to a high standard of drafting delivery. Must be a team player, capable of working with a talented group of designers, fabricators, draftsman, and managers. We are an evolving, fast-paced, driven operation ideal for the right candidate who will bring their expertise and contribute to the upward momentum and continual improvement of the company.
The Essential Functions of the position are:
Read and interpret construction drawings
Develop and create fabrication drawings
Manage small drafting team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and administrative responsibilities are completed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
Intermediate experience with Solidworks in a professional environment
Familiarty with Solidworks PDM
Experience with parametric and iterative design
Excellent organizational skills
General understanding of additional office software, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
