Employee Relations/Investigations Specialist1) Support on Employee Relations-Receive, review, and analyze employee complaints and supervisors' request for disciplinary action with the support of CCF Legal Counsel and support managers and supervisors in the preparation of any necessary written warnings, performance correction notices, or written disciplinary action.-Prepare, coach and follow-up with managers and supervisors to ensure that all written warnings, performance correction notices and written disciplinary actions are delivered and documented timely, appropriately and accurately.-Track all procedural steps for writing and delivering all written warnings, performance notices and written disciplinary actions.-Conduct necessary employee investigations and memorialize investigation findings;-Properly save, preserve, and record-keep pertinent documentation to employee relations matters;-Legal research on updates to employee relations matters and labor law; Under the direction of CCF Legal Counsel, modify the all procedural steps and applicable forms as a result of updates to employee relations matters and labor law;-Provide staff guidance on complex FMLA issues;-Provide staff guidance on complex reasonable accommodation requests;2) Support of Legal Actions/Agency Complaints (EEOC, maybe small-claims)-Coordinate with staff to obtain all necessary witness statements and documentation in connection with legal actions/agency complaints;-Prepare any necessary response to any legal action/agency complaints with the support of CCF Legal Counsel;-Properly save, preserve, and record-keep pertinent documentations in relation to legal complaints/agency complaints in legal server;-Interface with outside litigation counsel to ensure counsel receives all pertinent documentation for CCF's proper defense of claim and to obtain any additional information from staff/schedule meetings with staff;-Conduct any necessary legal research.3) Post-Employment Matters-Prepare response to requests for personnel file + coordinate delivery of employee file;-Prepare any necessary responses to unemployment + DIR wage claims;-Track and provide guidance on job abandonment issues;-Conduct any necessary legal research.4) Coordination with the Human Resources Department.

Serve as the key liaison and coordinator with the Human Resources Department in matters having to do with all written warnings, performance correction notices and written disciplinary actions

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

Interest in pursuing legal profession preferred.

1-3 years of HR experience.

Knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Bilingual Required.

Wage:$26.72 - $40.86 per hour DOE
