Junior Auditor

Description Our client, that services the entertainment industry, is looking to hire an entry level auditor. This is an entry level position, and we are looking for someone who is articulate, enjoys analytical type of work, and someone who is looking for a long-term career. This position requires you to work on site, however down the road you will have the flexibility to work fully remotely.Responsibilities: Conduct timely and professional payroll audits of production companies to ensure compliance with trust agreements and collective bargaining agreements. Assist in the resolution of disputed claims with signatory companies or members. Draft billing letters in accordance with the collection and schedule policy. Review audit reports prepared by external audit firms for accuracy and completeness. Assist in the research and allocation of payments received as a result of audit billings. Maintain regular correspondence with companies regarding outstanding audit billings. Prepare and write consideration packages to be presented at committee meetings for resolution. Conduct field work and research as assigned, and prepare preliminary audit findings. Answer participant’s questions in a respectful and timely manner. Assist the Collection Department with following up on billing which includes documenting phone calls, researching and resolving any claims. Use Microsoft Office Suite to maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications. Skills needed include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, as well as experience with Audit Compliance, Audit Findings, Auditing, and Financial Audits.Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and customers Proven ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with a professional demeanor Experience in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent written communication skills, particularly for email correspondence Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently Experience in conducting audits, including annual external audits, audit compliance, and financial audits Demonstrated knowledge in interpreting and communicating audit findings Proven ability to ensure compliance with audit requirements Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for the purpose of auditing Familiarity with external audit procedures and practices.
