Bartender/Bartender Consultant Part Time

We are an eclectic, multi-cuisine restaurant, with cocktails from Latin America, the Mediterranean, and Asia.

We are looking for a part-time bartender with experience and passion in making great cocktails. A person who can research and create seasonal, modern cocktails, plus do weekly inventory and ordering.

The candidate would be trained in all aspects of creating our current cocktails. The candidate would likely work at least one shift weekly to remain sharp. (That day could also be the inventory and ordering day, plus time to keep a keen eye on general freshness in prep, especially garnishes and fresh squeezed juices). The actual ordering could be done remotely.

We would want the person to have some flexibility to fill in if needed, should one of our bartenders become sick or need a day off. Certainly, some flexibility in scheduling would be a good thing for us. But the biggest ability we are looking for is someone who is passionate about making great cocktails and has demonstrated abilities to research, create clear recipes and procedures, and train bar staff.

We estimate this position requires between 5 and 10 hours per week, depending on whether the candidate works a full shift that week, or perhaps is doing new seasonal cocktails, and/or is assisting on a busy evening. There would likely be a base monthly pay for the management of inventory, subsequent ordering, and seasonal creation of new cocktails.

We do not free pour here. We use jiggers.
