Daytime Café Manager
Le Café de la Plage is seeking an experienced, inspiring Manager to lead our Montana Ave location in Santa Monica. This is a daytime position within an independent café recognized for its standards, culture, and sense of detail.
The Role
You will oversee daily operations, lead and elevate the team, and ensure every guest experience reflects our values of excellence, consistency, and hospitality. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a refined, high-expectation environment.
Profile & Requirements
Minimum 3 years of management experience within the same organization
Strong, natural leadership with a calm and structured approach
Solid restaurant and specialty coffee background (latte art appreciated)
Excellent operational judgment and service standards
Proven ability to lead, inspire, and retain a team of 5–10
Strong availability (5–6 daytime shifts per week)
Willing to occasionally support our Malibu location
Independent café experience required
(Candidates from large chains such as Starbucks or McDonald’s will not be considered)
Compensation
$33/hr ($25 base + approximately $8 in tips)
