The Front of House Manager leads the successful day-to-day operations of the restaurant. He/she trains and develops staff members, provides exceptional customer service, and maintains budgets set by the ownership.

Front of House Manager works as a team with Kitchen Manager and remote Cafe Managers. Front of House Manager expected to follow and ensure all staff follows the operational guidelines that will be given to you and to evaluate other tasks that need to be completed, and assist others with those tasks.

In addition to following policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Floor Leadership : Front of the House Manager is responsible for leading and participating in the operations of the serving staff by example and direction. It is the Front of House Manager's responsibility to maintain quality service within the establishment and respond to the needs of the clientele and employees and to take an active role on the floor.

Team Development: Training, evaluating and developing Front of House staff.

Management : interviewing, and hiring new staff. Participating in personnel decisions regarding the restaurant team, including promotions and terminations. Front of House Manager in performing administrative duties including payroll, inventory, proper cash handling, etc. Successfully communicating company changes and focus to the team.

Other Responsibilities: Building sales and managing the restaurant budget. Maintaining a clean restaurant with excellent quality food and customer service. Maintaining cleaning and sanitation standards within the restaurant. Execution of marketing strategies. Ensuring that safety and security standards are emphasized and adhered to, and that employees are trained in appropriate responses to unsafe situations.

The ideal candidate will:

Be able to develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personnel

Speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees

Be able to adapt and succeed in a fast paced environment

+2 years experience in the Restaurant/Bar Management

Possess exceptional customer service skills

An eye for detail and the ability to multi-task

Be able to lead and develop people
