The Semi-Tropic is seeking a new cook to add to our tightly-knit kitchen team. The cook must be comfortable working both solo and in pairs, prepping, doing dishes, and closing down the kitchen. Reliability, efficiency, and attention to detail are a must. The kitchen team is small, so each teammate has a key role to play in successfully executing our food program.
The Semi-Tropic has been an Echo Park go-to since 2015. We serve our own spin on Mediterranean bar food, and we are currently expanding to include Brunch.
Schedule and pay are to be discussed on an individual basis. The job will most likely involve 3 or 4 shifts per week, possibly more in the future.
