Chaumont Bakery located in Beverly Hills is seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for French pastries & coffee, a knack for customer service, and the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview: As a Shift Supervisor at Chaumont Bakery, you will be at the heart of our operation, serving up expertly crafted coffee beverages and assisting in the presentation of our pastries. Your passion for coffee and dedication to customer satisfaction will ensure that every guest enjoys a memorable visit to our café.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
Lead and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of quality.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist with training new employees and provide ongoing support to staff.
Manage inventory and supplies, placing orders as needed.
Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and balancing registers.
Qualifications:
Availability from 6:00am to 4:30pm daily, and weekend availability is a must
Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a bakery, café, or restaurant setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being a team player is a must.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Pay: $18 hourly plus tips (tips average between $10-$12 per hour in tips)
