About Us: We are a small group dedicated to providing accessible and affordable therapy services to our community. Our practice serves a diverse clientele, POC and LGBTQIA+, offering support to individuals through private pay and various insurance plans, including managed Medi-Cal, IN-network, and OUT-of-network coverage.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking 1-2 motivated associates either on the path to licensure or seeking part-time opportunities in private practice. As an associate, you can build your caseload while receiving support and referrals from our team.
Cases are not typically assigned to you, but we can refer some clients when they are available. The amount of clients will depend on your ability to market and advertise your services.
Self-motivated with the ability to market and advertise services to maintain an active caseload is a must.
Responsibilities:
Ability to maintain a minimum of 12 weekly client appointments. You can work with the population you want (i.e., couples, individuals, teenagers).
Complete documentation (assessments, treatment plan, progress notes) within 48 hours of service in our electronic record system (EHR).
If interested, and if clinically appropriate, learn to complete immigration evaluations (VAWA, U-VISAS, Hardship, Asylum)
Qualifications and Skills:
Registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) or the Board of Psychology (psychological assistants).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written, oral, and public communication skills.
Must maintain professional liability insurance.
Self-motivated with the ability to market and advertise services to maintain an active caseload. (through online directories, networking, etc)
Professional demeanor and ability to work independently.
Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus but not required.
Compensation/Benefits:
Clinical supervision is provided in group, triad, or individual settings.
W-2 employment status with competitive compensation.
Flexible schedule/hybrid options when feasible (office in Northridge, CA- close to the Northridge Mall).

Upon licensure, the opportunity to transition clients to your private practice if they choose to continue with you.
