We seek a trainable individual to be a part of our team. We perform drug and alcohol screenings and DOT Third Party Administration (TPA) services for a growing clinic in Duarte near the 605 and 210 Freeways. We service a variety of personalities on all economic scales daily, and the person hired must be able to adapt accordingly. Experience is not required, but a willingness and ability to learn and grow is essential to success and happiness in this position. If you have worked in a clinical environment, that would be great. We are asking for full-time; however, part-time work is possible. General office responsibilities like filing, data entry, answering phones, and maintaining a clean work environment are required, as are the following:

Under the direction of the Clinic Supervisor, the Collector’s primary responsibility is to provide coverage in the

clinic, ensuring that collections are completed accurately and on time

Maintain a safe and professional environment for clients and employees, perform with confidence in all aspects of

the testing, including specimen collection and processing duties, following established practices and procedures

Collects specimens according to established procedures using DOT guideline 49 CFR-Part 40

Completes random and emergency observed urine collections of same-sex clients as needed

Responsible for completing Chain of Custody (COC) forms and Alcohol Testing Forms accurately

Make sure the proper forms are used for various collections

Help with files and record-keeping

Provides customer service to clients

Maintains all appropriate collection logs, accuracy logs, calibrations, DOT and BAT certifications

Adheres to departmental and company code of grooming, dress code, and lab coat policies, always appearing neat

and clean

Remains polite always

Ensures equipment is neat, clean, and in good repair; takes appropriate action to advise the Manager or Supervisor

of required repairs and maintenance

All other duties as assigned within the scope of the position
