We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman / General Laborer to assist with the upkeep and maintenance of our office studio. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional work environment. This role involves a mix of general handyman tasks, light repairs, and basic outdoor maintenance. Looking for someone available one day a week for 4-6 hours. Additional hours will be provided when the work requires it.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the studio (interior and exterior).
Handle light plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, or replacing fixtures.
Maintain the cleanliness of the property, including trash and debris removal.
Perform basic landscaping duties such as weed removal, sweeping walkways, and keeping outdoor areas tidy.
Assemble, repair, or move office furniture and equipment as needed.
Inspect the premises regularly and report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or general laborer.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Physically able to lift up to 40–50 lbs. and perform manual labor.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
Must be available 4-6 hours one day per week.
