GENERAL SUMMARY:
Downtown Los Angeles Warehouse seeking two Warehouse Associates to join our team.
The Warehouse Associates will be responsible for packing all shipments for customers, counting inventory, and helping with the maintenance of the warehouse.
IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):
➢ Receive packages from vendors, suppliers, and customers
➢ Verify the quantity and description of the items received by checking the items against
the packing list
➢ Examine items to ensure they are not damaged; report any damages or discrepancies
➢ Accurately stock items in correct location and bins
➢ Attach identifying tags or labels to items (bag if needed)
➢ Review all orders/pick tickets before picking items to be packed
➢ Check with Office and Sales teams on discrepancies on pick tickets/ orders
➢ Assist in the maintenance of the warehouse and break room
➢ Pack items, make sure they are properly secured, tape boxes, weigh boxes, print labels,
label boxes correctly, double check against the pick ticket
➢ Identify and count stock as needed and relay that to Warehouse Manager
➢ Perform other duties as needed or required
REQUIREMENTS:
➢ Experience in warehouse environment (retail logistics preferred)
➢ Deadline driven individual with attention to detail
➢ Ability to move/lift anywhere up to 40lbs
➢ Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment
➢ Position spends 90% of a shift standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling
➢ Solid reading skills – must be able to read orders/ match orders on shipping tickets to
items picked
➢ Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week (schedule to be determined)
➢ Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed (if any)
