No experience in law office or law is required; proof of ability to work-hard, focus, and preform is required. Preferred knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, scanning and file maintenance.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
(Bookkeeper and Secretary)
Reception/liaison/respond with clients (including answering phones and intake), vendors, and attorneys by phone, e-mail, and mail
Scan, file, record, organize, and distribute client, court, and office documents
Input records and expenses, and generate invoices
Manage calendar and staff
(Paralegal)
Complete submission forms, including court forms and filings; draft discovery, pleadings, declaration; and coordinate correspondence and communications
Prepare Wills, Trusts and other estate planning forms as directed by attorneys
Organizes assets and coordinates trust funding
Prepare real property deeds and related documents, marshal assets, and organize/index documents
Prepare fiduciary accounting; manage calendar and dockets
Qualifications:
Organized with excellent oral and written communication skills
Work with accuracy and precision in a fast-paced team environment
Travel to and from the various locations in Los Angeles County
Manage time well, prioritize effectively and handle multiple deadlines
Customer focus and client relation skills
Responsive and service-oriented attitude
