To elevate our staging projects, we are seeking a skilled and versatile Contract Artist to produce custom abstract paintings tailored to our designers’ visions.
Role Overview
The artist will collaborate closely with our design team to replicate or interpret specified abstract artworks in custom sizes, ensuring the pieces complement each project’s aesthetic. You will create approximately on average 5-15 original paintings per month on a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Produce high-quality abstract paintings based on designer directives and sample references.
Match specified dimensions, color palettes, and styles accurately.
Meet monthly production goals (range of 5-15 paintings).
Ensure timely delivery of finished pieces for staging projects.
Source and maintain your own painting materials (reimbursed by company on invoice).
Qualifications
Proven experience as an artist specializing in abstract painting.
Strong ability to replicate styles and techniques from references.
Excellent understanding of color theory, composition, and scale.
Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
Position: Independent Contractor (not an employee/W-2).
Compensation: Per painting (Rate per painting size ($150/work for painting smaller than 36"x36"; $175/work for painting larger than 36"x36")
Flexible working hours—delivery deadlines are the priority.
