We're a growing lighting company offering an immediate position for sub-assembly.
We want someone who can Start immediately.
You will be
- measuring, cutting and preparing wire for assembly using our cutting table
- inspecting and preparing cases for assembly
- the job requires ability to lift up to 50lbs (with help if necessary)
- job requires wearing safety equipment including face mask/filter, goggles or protective eyewear
Starting Pay $17.95. Up to $19/hr with experience & speed.
If you have a strong work ethic and skill, this position may be able to expand into a full time assembly position in our factory, or a factory management position.
We are looking for minimum part time (20hrs per week), possibly full time through January.
Estimate 8-20 hours per week part time, 40 hours per week if full time
Responsibilities:
Attention to detail
Measuring wire using a cutting table
Cutting wire
Wire pre-assembly (stripping wire using a stripping machine and/or hand tools), Assembling a plug to the end
Using adhesive to connect components to a casing
Listening to the assemblers
Following an order list
Must be good at learning new skills, eagerness to work, and ability to work quickly
Power tool experience preferred, but most important is your willingness to work
Previous experience in metal finishing preferred but not required
Familiarity with tools and power tools helpful
Physical workload - ability to move & lift
Work with a team
Attention to detail
Strong Work Ethic required
Extra consideration to you if you've worked in a factory environment and played on a sports team (you understand team work)
Education - None required, we just want people willing to work; helps to be coordinated and attentive to detail - Show us what you can do.
Job Type: Part-time, possibly full time
STARTING NOW
Pay: $18 starting, $19.00 per hour with experience and demonstrated ability
Schedule:
Hours are between 8 am and 4:30pm - if part time, 4hours per day or otherwise agreed
