Responsibilities:
Set up & operate tube bending machinery and equipment to bend structural metal pipe , tube , bar etc
Specifications .
Fabricate directly from drawing, samples or instructions without supervision be able to read layouts templets and check fixtures tools dies and plane gauge requirements double check bent parts to drawing specifications and tolerance using proper measurements and be able to inspect equipment.
Operate hoist caddy forklift and manual pallet jack .
Maintain work area clean condition per safety regulations.
Safety glasses, gloves and back brace. Read blueprints use measuring tape. Gather material, Mark Material and Cut . Turn machine on clean
the back and do one practice cut.
Deburr pieces. Cut off corners (Hole machine). Notch corners. Grind corners on (Belt machines). Bend slides and tables on the Cincinnati Machine.
