Baldwin Builders is an established general contractor specializing in commercial & residential constructions & renovations. We have been in business since 2006 serving the largest, most successful insurance agencies in the country.
We are currently hiring an experienced CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT.
Skills Required:
· Knowledge insurance related construction, remodeling & renovations.
· 5+ years experience as a construction superintendent of the commercial or residential constructions industry.
· Experience with a general contractor preferred.
· Knowledge of scheduling, subcontract coordination and general project administration.
· Ability to read and understand specifications for all trades.
Job Description:
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge in the construction industry and at least 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent in the commercial or residential constructions industry.
· Experience with a general contractor is preferred. Experience with insurance claims and estimating preferred.
· Experience with Xactimate software preferred.
· Intermediate to advance Computer skills required, word, excel and Outlook.
· Bilingual English / Spanish, read & write preferred.
· Great organization skills required.
· Must be willing to travel within the state of CA for temporary assignments.
· Required to take and pass a background check as a condition of continued employment after hire date.
· OSHA/CALOSHA certification a plus.
· Live within a 30 mile radius preferred. Attendance and punctuality is a must.
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all construction activities, including scheduling, subcontract coordination, and general project administration. They will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the required quality standards and that all safety regulations are adhered to. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all trades are working together effectively and that any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and subcontractors. They will be able to read and understand specifications for all trades and will be able to ensure that all work is completed to the required standards. Must have own transportation.
