Personal/Creative Assistant needed for couple in the entertainment industry (actor/author/producer and musician/producer)…looking for a hardworking, creative, fun professional to assist with home and business duties. In person and remote work included so must be a local hire.

Qualifications:

- Must have a car or dependable transportation

- Must live no further than 20 min from 90046 area code

- Must have valid passport and occasionally be willing to travel with one or both of us to assist

- Good with dogs (or at least our adorable and loving small dog)

- Familiarity with Mac OS, Twitter, Facebook, Facebook Pages, Instagram, and YouTube platforms and posting protocols (you may be sitting in on training sessions with me to learn more about these as well)

- Knowledge of Quicken and Quickbooks for Mac

- Knowledge Canva or other graphics apps for social media

- Ability to make updates to WordPress website

- College degree or some college education preferred (open to students as well!)

- Involved in or familiar with the entertainment industry, particularly gaming, television, and music

- Will be required to sign an NDA

- Strong personal/professional references needed

- Adobe Photoshop or other graphics software a plus

- Excellent attention to detail

- Excellent task management and planning/organization skills (I get a little caught up in creating and I’m going to need you there to help me keep track of our day to day as we build together)

- A desire to be of service to the world – we want to work with people who care about other people as much as we do.

- A no-drama, very strong work ethic – we understand things happen, but there shouldn’t be regular excuses for not getting things done.

- A great sense of humor and willingness to take direction – our lives are very unpredictable, so you’ll need to think on your feet as much as we do. No two days are the same and thank goodness for that.

Regular, ongoing duties:

- Basic filing, shipping small packages and office organization

- Social Media upkeep and event posting

- Website updates

- Occasional household duties(e.g. errands, dog sitting, supervising workers who come to the house, picking up/dropping off packages/dry cleaning etc)

- Will be free to do most work off-site, but will need to have at least one in-person check in per week, likely more.

Some examples of project based duties:

- Creating basic graphics for use on social media and in print

- Culling online engagement data for online campaigns

- Organizing and tagging event photos from publicity events

- Assisting with content creation: taking photos, videos, batched content

What you’ll get:

- 20 hours/week guaranteed (but likely more), pay commensurate with experience and performance (minimum starting $20/hr).
