Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Clerk to join our team. This is a family owned retail/wholesale business, selling tools-housewares-general merchandise for the past 44 years. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, friendly, and motivated individual who enjoys working with the public and is passionate about providing excellent service.
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers on the sales floor.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer questions and make tailored recommendations.
Perform sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register and a credit card machine.
Assist with store operations, including restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and keeping the sales floor clean and tidy.
May need some assistance from time to time consisting of lifting, loading and unloading trucks.
Qualifications:
Basic math and computer skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts. Store hours: Mon-Sat 9AM to 6PM and Sun 9AM to 5PM.
