We are looking for an enthusiastic, influential, and sales driven opener manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the opener sales team, driving lead generation, and ensuring consistent performance to meet or exceed sales targets. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to motivate the team, ensure efficient processes, and maximize sales opportunities. This position is crucial in fostering a productive, positive, and results-driven environment.

The opener sales team is responsible for screening all inbound sales calls to ensure only qualified leads are sent over to the closing team for sales purposes. We currently use an online sales system to monitor calls and ensure all calls are being answered and handled correctly.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

- Manage, supervise, and lead a team of agents, providing guidance and support throughout daily operations.

- Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals, and monitor team performance against KPIs.

- Conduct regular training, coaching, and development sessions to enhance the team's sales techniques and product knowledge.

- Ensure adherence to telemarketing scripts, compliance guidelines, and sales processes.

Sales & Performance Management

- Drive overall team performance by monitoring individual sales calls, providing real-time feedback, and offering corrective action when necessary.

- Actively work to improve conversion rates, call quality, and lead generation effectiveness.

- Implement sales strategies and campaigns to meet or exceed team quotas.

- Analyze call data and sales reports to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.

Team Motivation & Development

- Foster a high-energy, positive environment to maintain morale and keep the team motivated.

- Hold daily or weekly meetings to review team performance, address challenges, and celebrate successes.

- Conduct performance evaluations and offer actionable feedback to team members for continuous improvement.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

- Ensure agents provide a high level of customer service, building rapport with prospects, and effectively addressing concerns.

- Resolve escalated customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

- Maintain a focus on long-term customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction with the sales process.

Operations & Process Management

- Ensure that the sales floor operates efficiently, including managing call schedules, workflow, and lead distribution.

- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to develop new strategies for lead generation, customer acquisition, and customer retention.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and company products/services to inform sales strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

- 2+ years of experience in sales or telemarketing management or a similar leadership role in a call center.

- Proven track record in leading a high-performing telemarketing team and achieving sales targets.

Skills

- Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to inspire and coach a team.

- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical and data-driven approach to monitor performance and optimize results.
