I am looking for a second person in my growing custom cabinet and millwork shop. I fabricate and install custom millwork, kitchens, fitted furniture ect. My shop is in DTLA. Most of my work is between Mid City and Altadena.
I am looking for either one of two types: one is another woodworker/cabinetmaker. You would ideally also have some experience in finish carpentry and install work. I treat shop work and install as two sides of the same coin.
I am also definitely willing to take on an apprentice/helper. So if you are in/have recently come out of trade school and are looking for your first job get in touch.
Whatever your experience, a keen eye for detail, ability to learn, and a good work ethic is paramount. Giving a shit is a must.
I am flexible on schedule but am looking for regular number of hours per week.
Pay would be based on experience. Some tools would be good but not essential. Transport is essential. Position open to all people.
