Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven Construction Superintendent to oversee all aspects of our diverse construction projects, encompassing both Residential and Commercial work. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of Quality Control. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of structural integrity and all relevant building trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Management:
- Provide strong leadership to site teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Technical Oversight & Code Compliance:
- Fluently read and interpret construction plans (blueprints, specifications, and drawings).
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of structural engineering principles and local building codes (including requirements for Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Framing, and Foundation work).
Ensure all work adheres to legal and regulatory standards:
- Quality & Safety Assurance:
- Implement rigorous Quality Control checks throughout all construction phases to ensure superior craftsmanship and material integrity.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential construction issues or conflicts before they impact the schedule or budget.
- Administrative & Computer Skills:
- Utilize Computer Knowledge (e.g., project management software, scheduling tools, email, and reporting) for efficient job site operations, documentation, and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10+ Years of experience working as a Construction Superintendent or in a directly relevant leadership capacity.
- Proven expertise in managing and overseeing both Residential and Commercial construction projects.
- Advanced ability to read, understand, and apply complex construction documents and specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of all major building trades and systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Framing, Foundation).
