Full Job Description
Weldtec Manufacturing Inc. seeks a CAD Drafter in Waterford, California. Weldtec Manufacturing has been serving the Valley and Bay Area in Industrial and Commercial steelworks since 2007. This position requires a person trained/experienced in SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D. They will be responsible for detailed drawings of 3d models from design engineers. Must understand assemblies, weldments, machined, and sheet metal components. You will also have to interpret hand sketches and transform them into 3D models and detailed drawings. Other responsibilities will be floorplan layouts of equipment and conveyors. Reverse engineering parts as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have strong work ethic and attention to detail.
3-5 years of experience minimum is required.
Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D required.
Must be willing to learn documentation.
Must be detail-oriented.
Solid organizational and planning skills.
Strong communication skills, articulate, team player, and dependable.
Self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy/efficiency.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Computer literate: spreadsheets and word processing.
Please note this is NOT a remote position, requires working out of our Waterford, California location.
