Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the Government industry, based in Modesto, California. The role primarily involves clerical accounting duties, handling tenant accounts, processing accounts payable, and rent collections. Responsibilities: Efficiently process tenant payments and deposits. Handle weekly and monthly check processing. Balance bank statements for various programs. Prepare and post cash receipts and cash disbursements. Generate overpayment letters and final notice letters for landlords. Maintain all accounts payable files. Process tenant contracts and rent collections. Balance analytical on a monthly basis. Prepare monthly reports. Use MS Excel and Yardi for data entry and invoice processing.Requirements Possesses a minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Data Entry Experienced in Invoice Processing Skilled in using Microsoft Excel Capable of handling Daily Cash Receipts and recording them accurately Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrates high levels of integrity and confidentiality Capable of multi-tasking and meeting strict deadlinesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
