The Principal Database Administrator is responsible to plan, organize and direct the activities of an assigned section within the Information Technology Department; to coordinate section activities with other divisions or department; and to provide highly responsible professional and technical support to the Information Technology Manager. Position performs a variety of application analysis and development duties with a high degree of complexity and requiring specialized knowledge encompassing one or more of the following specialty areas:
Applications support, maintenance, and administration
Data analysis and business intelligence
Data governance
Database administration
Business workflow analysis
