Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in caregiving and a genuine passion for helping others. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, providing companionship, and ensuring their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medication records
Monitor and report changes in residents' health and behavior
Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities
Assist with mobility and transferring residents as needed
Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other staff members
Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy and dignity
Follow all policies and procedures of the assisted living community
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a caregiver
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving preferred
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
