Our central valley based, growing dental practice is looking for an energetic, passionate and reliable full time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA/RDAEF2) to join our practice.
Someone who is an exceptional communicator, enjoys learning and advancing skills, willing to cross-train in both back and front office workflows, has a genuine passion for the dental field and is a dynamic team player.
RDA Duties:
Chairside assisting for both doctor and associate
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatory
Take diagnostic digital X-rays (Dexis)
Room and tray set ups
Fabrication of temporary crowns
Coronal Polishing
Digital scanning (iTero) for restorative treatment, dentures, nightguards, Invisalign, etc.
Intraoral camera imaging
Delivers orthodontic aligners and reviews patient instructions for Invisalign tray wear and cleaning.
Other job-related tasks as assigned
RDAEF2 Duties:
Has a high level of understanding of dental procedures
Places restorations as allowed by licensure
Fabricates, adjusts and cements temporary and final crowns
Uses iTero scanner to acquire full mouth digital scans and scans for restorative work
Handles tissue retraction for a digital scan of restorative preparations, takes and assesses the scan for accuracy and sends to the lab
Requirements:
Current California RDA license or RDAEF2 license
2+ years’ dental office experience as an RDA/RDAEF2.
Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology, OSHA and safety compliance
Computer practice software (Dentrix) experience preferred.
Dental front office experience a plus

Able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
