We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to join our team and help us further our mission.
Position Overview:
As the Store Manager, you will lead our store operations and ensure our team delivers outstanding service to our donors and our customers. Your experience in supervision, merchandising, researching and pricing, communication with donors, and inventory management will be crucial in driving our store’s success. You will oversee a team of 7 part-time staff and be responsible for maintaining a fast-paced, efficient, customer and donor friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Effectively lead, mentor, and empower a team of 7 part-time staff members. Promote a collaborative and high- performing culture.
- Merchandising: Utilize your expertise to enhance store merchandising strategies to optimize sales and visually highlight products.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory efficiently to maximize sell through and ensure stock levels meet customer demand.
- Research & Pricing: Research and inspect one-of-a-kind items to assist in accurate pricing, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
- Problem Solving: Display creativity and resourcefulness in problem-solving within a fast-paced retail environment.
- Technology Proficiency: Utilize computer skills to manage emails, Google Calendar, and communicate through text. Ensure smooth integration of technology into daily tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a supervisor in retail, with a strong background in merchandising, inventory control, and price evaluation of unique items.
- Demonstrated ability to research and appraise one-of-a-kind or specialty items for accurate pricing.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in using computers and technology, including email and Google Calendar.
