- In this role, you'll keep an innovative engineering team firing on all cylinders.
- You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and CMs/ODMs/OEMs to get high-quality products built, tested and released on time.
- You will bridge the gap between critical technologies and the top-level system, coordinating many fast-changing, moving parts that come together as a product.
- You possess excellent communication skills and can answer all questions about schedules, quality and progress updates.
- You are responsible for identifying and managing risks, making sound judgments about quality, and stopping (or speeding up) production at the right time.
- Drive sensor validation testing and track progress.
- Drive development.
- Drive hardware module schedules and resource needs with engineering and operations teams and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Interface between vendors and cross functional engineering and operations teams driving builds and managing hardware module schedules, budgets, and performance.
- Lead module sub-system development builds at one or more vendors and manage the budgets for module development.
- Issue purchase orders to different vendors.
- Build schedule for electronic module development and lead module sub-system development builds at one or more vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 1-3 years of program/project management experience in consumer hardware.
- Familiarity with HW/SW development environments.
- Familiarity with Docs, Sheets, Slides, Smart sheets.
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp).
- Experience in consumer electronics and preferably wearables module development.
- Industry experience, with a demonstrated record of hands-on product development, program management, project management, professional services and/or engineering management.
- Experience with mechanical design of highly constrained, high-volume designs.
- Knowledge of hardware development and manufacturing processes, vendor relations and working with Contract Manufacturers (CM) in Asia.
- Team player and creative thinker who is able to lead technical teams, cross-functional groups and vendors in accordance with plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
