RGP is seeking a Senior Revenue Accounting Manager who will be responsible for supporting new product launches and incentive GTM program launches, and the downstream revenue recognition impact.This individual will be responsible for revenue accounting, ASC 606 revenue recognition in support of new products, launches and offerings, partnering closely with various stakeholders, including facilitating discussions involvement in business planning reviews of new product launches, ensuring operational plans are in place for downstream teams.Core skills include revenue accounting, revenue recognition, ASC 606, project management and stakeholder engagement (coordinating on a timely manner with stakeholders across the business, likely, cloud controllership, sales, sales operations, product, deal desk, legal, etc), and strong communication skills.Specific skill set:
Degree in Accounting
10+ years of Revenue Accounting, ASC 606 Revenue Recognition a must. Operational revenue accounting experience is helpful in planning/collaborating with downstream revenue teams
Experience reviewing and providing accounting conclusions as well as identification of revenue operationalization risks for new products, business, or new service offerings
5-8 yrs of creating guidance & programs for specific new product introduction NPI. For example: Determining what are the business requirements? Is this a new product? What's the nature of this product? Rev Rec standards? How is the system going to invoice?
Highly Technical, Requiring judgment & application of ASC 606
Stakeholder Engagement. Able to communicate and influence various stakeholders including: revenue operations, technical accounting, sales, sales operations, product, deal desk, legal, etc
Ability to navigate gray/ambiguity (Baseline DTPs in place)
Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.
Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
Pay Range: $80hr.
