Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are in search of a meticulous and efficient Accounts Payable Clerk for a role based in Newport Beach, California. This position is within the telecom industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including accounts payable invoice processing and data entry, utilizing skills in programs such as Microsoft Excel and NetSuite.Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable invoice processing with precision Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Utilize NetSuite for various accounting functions Apply Microsoft Excel skills for data management and calculations Conduct check runs and invoice processing, adhering to company procedures Code invoices correctly to ensure proper categorization Monitor and maintain accurate customer credit records Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions for delinquent payments. Requirements Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk for at least 3 years Proficiency in using Accounts Payable (AP) software Demonstrable experience in check runs Familiarity with coding invoices Proficiency in data entry tasks Experience in invoice processing Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Familiarity with using NetSuite software Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Demonstrable problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
