Position Overview:Under the supervision of Respiratory Care Services Manager and, upon physician request, the Respiratory Care Practitioner performs all functions as outlined in the policy and procedure manual of the Respiratory Care Services department. This includes, but is not limited to, emergency services, therapeutics, diagnostics, department records, cleaning and maintaining department equipment, and participation in performance improvement activities.Qualifications:Associate's Certificate of completion from AMA approved program (two year program) in respiratory care. RequiredBachelor's Degree in related field. PreferredOther Clinical training in ABG analysis, adult ventilation and EKG. Highly Desired. Preferred2 years recent experience as staff respiratory care practitioner in an accredited acute care hospital.
