The Application Developer, Consultant will report to the Pega Sr Manager. In this role you will evaluate an organization's business needs and determining how Pega can support those needs leveraging the platform. As the config owner, you will be responsible for the delivery of all configuration within the agile team you are assigned. Focusing on automation and help determine, develop, and improve technical solutions in support of business goals.Your WorkIn this role, you will:- Lead the implementation of the tech design based on the Enterprise architecture and solution design
- May help manage the configuration delivery of the Pega platform solutions
- Lead end to end solution delivery of small to medium scale projects to ensure the outcome design meets functional and non-functional requirements
- Review and analyze data to predict future needs and devises enhancements
- Communicate and consult with clients and internal stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions
- Act as the configuration owner that drives the successful integration of application systems, projects, and enhancements
- Collaborate with the various agile teams to provide Pega expertise and capability
- Instruct, direct, mentor, and monitor the technical work of projects senior staff
- Identify implementation hurdles that may compromise systems or services
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 5+ years of prior relevant experience
- Effective verbal and written communication with peers, leaders, and business customers on complex level user interface design, application programming skills, and development methodologies
- Requires experience performing complex business analysis and/or technology healthcare operations
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with query building skills including SQL, MS Access, and/or other technical analysis tools
- Requires Pega knowledge typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
- Pega certification desired
- Highest degree of expertise in configuration of business rules
