Description We are currently seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team in Oceanside. The successful candidate will have at least an Associate's degree in a relevant field and a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.Responsibilities:
Generate timely invoices and send them to customers.
Track and monitor accounts for non-payment and delayed payment.
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and recording accounts receivable data.
Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Verify discrepancies and work to resolve clients' billing issues.
Compile necessary information from financial institutions such as banks and credit organizations.
Requirements
Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field.
Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Receivable Manager.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
