Candidates must reside in the Oceanside, CA area. Position Summary The Director of IT Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s Security and IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, data centers, and cloud environments. This role involves developing and executing strategies to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of IT systems. The Director will lead a team of IT professionals, manage budgets, provide technical leadership, and coordinate with other departments to support business objectives. Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure all infrastructure services used to support KBS’ business and functions operate at the highest level of quality, security, and availability
Developing an integrated infrastructure and service delivery team focused on cybersecurity, outage recovery and mitigation, and business continuity
Establishing a team that provides infrastructure architecture and platforms for program teams
Implementing rigorous service levels with both the business and suppliers and establishing prevention as the key lever of service
Establishing a vendor management capability
Working with business partner control groups to maintain the critical infrastructure
Engaging with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and deliver solutions aligned to business needs
Completing a current-state assessment, identifying needs, and building business cases to communicate said needs/solutions to key business partners
Identifying and delivering new and emerging technologies that reduce costs and improve efficiencies across the business
Develop and deliver information security, privacy, and data loss prevention programs to include information in electronic, print, and other formats
Implement an ongoing risk assessment program targeting information security and privacy matters
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
10+ years of experience in an operational, managementor services delivery role
Knowledge of IT Service Management and IT Security and Protocol
Ability to lead and direct a team of IT Professionals
Proven change leaser, having driven technology change in a large enterprise
Ability to partner cross-functionally to drive complex strategic project
Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP
Extensive knowledge of running and maintaining cloud-based and hybrid services, as well as compute storage and network
Experience in a PE backed environment helpful
Educational Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required
