Come join our team ! We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. We are open 9-6 with an hour lunch break from 1-2. Bilingual a plus Spanish or Vietnamese. Looking to start ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care
- Take digital X-Rays
- Administer local anesthetic and apply cavity-preventive agents such as fluorides and sealants
- Document patient care and treatment plans in electronic health records
- Assist the dentist for exam and consult only
- Certified Dental Hygienist with a valid license in California
- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CAD/CAM systems, and dental assisting procedures
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Ability to take vital signs, conduct patient assessments, and assist in dental office procedures
