Apartment and residential job site demolition both interior and exterior as needed to prepare job site for reconstruction work
Demolition includes but is not limited to removal of kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, sinks, tile, granite, stonework, window blinds, door hardware, drywall, switch plates, countertops, doors, closet doors, cabinet doors, appliances, shelving, flooring, concrete, stucco, roofing, fire damaged product and living area, water damaged products and living area, and to remove all demolition items from the area
Using hand or power tools, to down old or unsound building structures or portions of.
Returning job equipment and tools daily to locked location.
Removing debris, rubble, and hazardous materials from job sites.
The ability to safely use hand and power tools, and heavy machinery.
Demolition is inclusive of removal of all material needed on each job site and is not limited to the items listed above. Demolition team members are also required to clean up the job site daily as requested by the supervisor or lead team mate.
The ability to work as part of a team.
The ability to stand for extended periods.
Good physical stamina.
Ability to lift and safely carry up to 75lb.
Ability to relocate appliances, refrigerators, dishwasher, washer and dryers into units and to use appropriate safety lifting measures.
Effective communication skills.
In addition to regular demo job requirements basic labor work will be performed such as but not limited to basic install, cleaning up other projects, moving materials from job to job and more.
