Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dry Cleaning Presser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pressing and finishing all upper-wear garments, ensuring each item meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Press, steam, and finish all upper-wear items, including shirts, blouses, jackets, coats, sweaters, and formal tops
Operate pressing equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect garments for stains, damage, or special-care needs before and after pressing
Maintain consistency in quality and appearance for all finished garments
Follow specific garment-care instructions and fabric handling guidelines
Organize and manage workflow to ensure timely completion of orders
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist with other production tasks as needed, especially brushing sweaters, and preparing hangers.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a garment presser or in a dry-cleaning/laundry facility preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle delicate fabrics
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Willingness to learn and follow company procedures
What We Offer:
19.50 per hour
Start time 5:30 am or 6:00 am
7-8 hours workdays 5 days a week
On-the-job training (if needed)
