Qualifications:
- Prior experience in business litigation for a minimum of 5 years is required
- Required California Bar License
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- California license must be in good standing
Responsibilities:
- Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
- Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
- Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis
- Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects
