Based in Buena Park, CA., Studio 60 functions as the in-house advertising and creative agency for Yamaha musical instrument and audio/visual products.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION COVERING A LEAVE!

The Studio 60 Account Executive is the day-to-day client lead, providing the structure and support for internal clients and external partners. This role leads integrated marketing campaigns (which may include but not be limited to print and digital campaigns) and knows how to manage and communicate expectations to clients and internal stakeholders. As the key agency-to-client interface, the Account Executive must be able to review creative briefs, assess project requirements and facilitate project kick-offs in an efficient manner, ensuring that projects deliver on the brief and are completed on time.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

Operate as a communication hub between agency team members, agency leadership and clients.

Plan, schedule and lead client presentations and weekly status meetings.

Ability to think big picture, anticipate potential issues and provide solutions

Work with agency leadership to manage existing workload and in-coming assignments.

Partner with Project Intake to open and track agreed upon project/jobs in agency software. At times, the Account Executive may need to “pivot” - opening and tracking specific projects during peak workload periods.

Partner with Creative Director to present creative and lead client presentations

Document project evolution via conference reports or detailed notes when key client decisions or approvals are made and communicate updates to the appropriate team members.

Partner with project management to maintain a detailed record of job changes, assess cost / timing implications and escalate roadblocks accordingly.

Collaborate with Studio 60 key stakeholders (creative, production, digital development and project management) to create and manage project estimates, hours and budgets.

Proactively identify workflow/communication issues and elevates them to the leadership team and/or presents resolutions.

Assist Account Supervisor and/or Account Director on other duties, no matter how small or large

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:

3+ Years of account management experience, advertising agency experience a plus

Commitment to continuous process improvement and exhibit a solutions approach in daily mindset

Bachelor's degree

Must have experience managing traditional offline campaigns (such as point-of-purchase, tradeshow materials and print ads) and online digital campaigns

Project management experience a plus

Demonstrated experience in adopting and championing best practices.

Familiarity with design and digital marketing best practices

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

Ability to confidently present work to all internal and external stakeholders

Must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time, with competence and a cool head.

Excel at building client and internal relationships

Must be energetic, organized, proactive and anticipate obstacles to overcome. Since it’s advertising, a thick skin helps too.

Prioritize listening to overreacting.

Demonstrate the ability to motivate the team and inspire teamwork.

Some local travel required. Up to 5% travel.
