Gummy Production Lead/Supervisor: is responsible for identifying, managing, and executing gummy production. They will lead production processes and resolve issues. They will also be responsible for inventory needed for production including supplies and human resources. They will coordinate with other teams to fulfill orders timely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Execution of gummy production. Starting with inventory, weighing and measuring, cooking, demolding, sugaring, curing and cleaning according to company SOP and recipes.
Coordinate with the other departments to meet deliverable schedules.
Assist with reordering required supplies for Gummy department
Leads and participates in the team to improve Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.
Provides frequent informal and periodic formal job performance feedback to the team.
Completes other projects and tasks as assigned by management. :
Qualifications:
1+ years in a lead/supervisory role for cooking/manufacturing and/or related fields.
Knowledge utilizing a depositor a big plus
Knowledge of pectin gummies a plus.
Ability to use a calculator to add, multiply, subtract and divide decimals and basic units of measure.
Basic mechanic knowledge to troubleshoot machines is a plus
Ability to lift 30# repeatedly and 50# on occasion is a necessity.
Communication Skills (Oral & Written) – able to speak clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations.
Spanish speaking is a plus.
