Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Screen Print Operator to join our production team in Santa Ana, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and setting up screen printing machines, specifically for apparel such as t-shirts. This position is key to ensuring high-quality print results and maintaining efficient production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate automatic and/or manual screen printing machines
Align and register screens to ensure accurate print placement
Perform test prints and make adjustments for optimal quality
Monitor print jobs for quality and consistency throughout production
Maintain cleanliness of machines and work area
Assist with screen cleaning, reclaiming, and maintenance
Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals
Report any mechanical issues or delays to the Production Manager
Requirements:
Minimum 1–2 years of screen printing experience, with ability to independently set up and operate machines
Familiarity with different types of inks, mesh counts, squeegees, and garment materials
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
Knowledge of safety procedures in a production environment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with brands such as M&R, ROQ, or similar automatic presses
Understanding of color matching and Pantone systems
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday (overtime and weekends as needed)
