Established in 1997 Synergetic Technologies Group is growing and seeking talented individuals that want full-time engineering responsibilities. Flexible work schedule from 7am – 4pm, Monday through Friday.
The senior engineer will work collaboratively to develop unique mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic products for Military and Aerospace customers. Emphasis will be placed on pre/post sale analysis of materials, drawings, specifications and change notices in accordance with contracts as required by AS9100 standards for our aerospace and military customers.
Primary Job Tasks and Responsibilities
− Review and accurate interpretation of drawings, parts lists and technical specifications.
− Document management of drawings, specifications and change orders (physical and electronic)
− Creation of (Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks) CAD models and drawings (GD&T a plus).
− Creation and implementation of product Work Orders for Assembly and Test Plans.
− Fabrication of tools, fixtures, jigs and models to support the completion of First Article production.
− Collaboration to identify sources/alternative materials, resolve design questions and implement product improvements
Education and Experience
− Proficient working with numbers, data and information (MIL spec experience is a plus)
− No degree in Engineering required with relevant (Mechanical or Electrical) experience (bachelors or masters a plus)
− Proficient with:
o electronics and electro/mechanical products. Reverse engineering a plus.
o CAD/CAM software, Acrobat, Excel, Word, internet based applications and data sources
o machine tools, CNC Vertical Mill programming/operating, and related equipment
o mechanics, hand tools, assembly of small precision components (soldering experience is a plus)
o material sourcing, third party processing of metals, electronics, glass and plastic components

Compensation:
- Salary based on relevant experience
- Eligible for pay increase after Mid-Year or Annual performance review
- Eligible for annual Bonus (subject to overall corporate profitability and individual performance)
